A solid foundation for growth

Kaas-Pack Holland was first established in the sixties. Henk Koekoek sold cheese and other dairy products on weekly markets and, at the request of a manufacturer of frozen meals, he then proceeded on to grated cheese. Initially he did this manually, but later he purchased a grating machine.
In 1993 Koekoek came into contact with the entrepreneur Cor Liberg, who was looking for a manufacturer of grated cheese for the German market. A partnership developed and a year later Koekoek and Liberg merged their activities and Kaas-Pack Holland BV was incorporated.

Responding to the market

A demand developed on the market for more convenience products and thus also for pre-cut sliced cheese. Kaas-Pack Holland responded to this demand need by purchasing a cutting machine.
The demand for grated cheese, cubes and bars for industrial use also increased and led to further investment. The market quickly expanded beyond Germany and Kaas-Pack Holland expanded – amongst others – to Austria, Denmark, Sweden, the United Kingdom, Ireland and later Hungary and Slovenia. Currently, Kaas-Pack Holland supplies to almost all European countries, from Iceland to Cyprus.
